Hi Ladies, I visit this forum every chance I get. I wanted to tank all of you that take the time to post on here as its been extremely helpful. I wanted to know if anyone has done their reception at the oceana or himitsu restaurant? If so, please let me know as much as possible. I am told it won't be private as the restaurant will be open to everyone, but they set up you party separately and no music. I am afraid it may look tacky, but I may not have a choice! Any thoughts? Which one is the better restaurant, as far as location and menu.

Hello Ladies, Can anyone tell me if we are responsible for the place cards or do they do it? Also, has anyone use the videographer and the photographer from the Hotel? Were they any good? Also I will be doing a welcome bag, any suggestion on what I should put in there.

Hi Ladies, I am also on a budget and, when Claudia sent me the total, it almost took my breath away. Things can sure add up. I have heard of replacing the cocktail hour for the additional 10 ppl for dinner, that is a good idea if you are on a tight budget. I am in between a DJ and the sound system for the reception on the beach. What do you ladies think? The sound system would less expensive but, would it look cheap?

Hi Alina, Thank you so much for taking the time and posting these pictures. The location does look beautiful. I am very unimpressed with the hotel. I have my wedding booked for October 26, and I have been having nightmares about the way the hotel will look and my guests complaining about it. It does not look luxurious at all. What was your first impression.

Hi Ladies, Congratulations to all of you. I am thinking of getting married in october of this year in Dreams Cancun. I fell in love with the pictures of the gazebo and the outside of the hotel. However, I am not to sure about the inside, it doesn't look very grand. some of the areas look very outdated. I have been going back and forth between the dreams cancun and the dreams riviera maya. I am driving myself crazy. I just don't want to be disappointed with the hotel itself. The riviera maya one is gorgeous, but not much to say about the gazebo. Can you ladies please help me, for the ones that have been there.
