Yes. A valid concern. I think you would have to stay a few more days and have a party with it to get the value. I think the prices listed are the median of what people spend. We have a flowsheet and it looks like $1000 per person is a reasonable estimate as far as overall pricing goes. Re the cake- I think since they choose their vendor they might be pricey for the basic stuff too. Catering there is quite expensive. Im not sure though! Looks like we need some info from someone who has had a wedding there!

I am in the same boat! Myself and my fiancee are now trying to decide whether to book. 20 % on top of everything really does add up. It is so beautiful though. I just hope they don't work with only really $$$ vendors. I think floral will be ++ expensive too as they import their flowers. We were told to expect to spend a few thousand just on floral. Any advice from previous brides would be appreciated!

I am thinking of having my wedding at Laguna Azul in April, 2013. I have emailed them but it takes weeks for them to get back to me which is making me a bit nervous. Has anyone else had any better luck? I have also been warned to be very careful about which wedding ceremony you choose from a friend who attended a wedding there. I am yet to get any info from the resort on the different wedding packages so if anyone knows what they entail please let me know!!
