hey! u sound like me! we've booked 110 ppl at the resort for dec 2012.. we're heading there this wknd to check it out so i can sleep until the wedding! I'm in the same boat.. wondering what the whole "unlimited private functions" is all about. Hoping to get all my questions answered this wknd. not too excited about having randoms all around the ceremony.. have been checking with outside wedding planners in playa to see if theres other venues for the ceremony and reception but it can get really expensive. I've read on here about ppl using the terrace but we have a larger capacity then what it holds. i would prefer to wear my shoes so maybe if it has to be on the beach they can make a kind of runway type thing? ( love how i wanted a beach wedding but really want to wear my shoes!!) i keep telling everyone .. its like a beach wedding but not really! Anyone know any details about extending your hours for the reception and/or bringing your own dj? ill post my findings from this wknd when i get back!
