Oh, also, it was pretty hot and humid. Like low 90's. A lot of the guests were not used to the humidity - lots of frizzy hair in the pics - but no one cared - they had the time of their lives. I was a sweating mess by the end (but I was also a dancing fool, so that added to it). It was perfect during the ceremony. I had heard it gets very windy on the beach and whenever we had been there before we experienced that wind, but none this time. There was a nice breeze by the reception. I can't think of anything you need to know except that they will do EVERYTHING for you at Esencia and they have impeccable taste. I didn't need to worry about anything at all. The DJ that they have is AMAZING, the food is just out-of-control good (everything. Literally everything). I will say though, that there is always tequila being passed around and I am positive that they water it down because if I ever, in the US, drank as much tequila as I drank down there, I'd be dead. My mother is the biggest lightweight on earth and she probably had six shots of tequila at the rehearsal dinner and she was fine. That is not normal. No one ever was sick-wasted, everyone was happy drunk, and people were doing five, six shots of tequila a night. I think it's some magic potion. Stick to beer and wine. I still have my doubts about the liquor.
