  1. @muneera0302 - I took measurements and didn't add any inches. Some guys pants were a little snug, and others were a little loose, but they all were comfortable and would have been easily altered if they had wanted. My suggestion would be (as well as the website's suggestion) for the jackets and pants, use a suit that fits them well already to help out with the measurements. As long as you follow the instructions on the website, you should be good As well, make sure that you look at the descriptions of the fit (I believe there are loose fits and tighter fits, boot cut, etc.). Good luck!
  2. Hi there! I actually planned a rehearsal on my own, the actual wedding coordinator wasn't there. Basically I just arranged a time the day before the wedding and before dinner for the wedding party to meet at the gazebo and just do a run through of the ceremony and where I wanted everyone, etc. I had my meeting with the coordinator that same day, so she filled me in on how the day would go and where everyone should stand, etc. After that, the boys and girls went their separate ways for bachelor/bachelorette dinners. It worked out really well. I had been in constant contact by email with a girl in the wedding department for months, she left the resort so another girl, Nekeisha Reid, started responding to my emails. She actually ended up being my wedding coordinator. I'm not sure how they decide that, but you should definitely have a coordinator 2 months prior to the wedding. I would email Omeshia and ask her if she is going to be your wedding coordinator, or if you are going to be assigned to someone else. Hope that helps! Amanda
  3. @IrieBride - Yes, I think that would be useful! When we arrived at the resort, I handed out an itinerary which had our welcome dinner time and place, wedding rehearsal info and wedding info. I wanted to be careful not to plan too much for our guests, as it is not just our wedding, but their vacation as well. A large group of us did a tour through the hotel that went to Margaritaville and Rick's cafe one day. It was inexpensive and not planned in advance, and it worked out really well. Another idea (if you haven't already done so) is to make a free wedding website. It's so easy to keep all of your quests up to date on all travel and wedding events. Other than that, when you get there, just tell people you will be hanging out by the pool most days and to meet up with you there! Hope that helps
  4. Hi ladies. I just wanted to post my review. We were pretty happy with the suits and shirts we ordered from Studio Suits. These are in light beige linen. We custom measured everyone and the sizing turned out fairly decent.
  5. Congrats Sher! You must be getting so excited! Yes, your wedding coordinator will arrange a pick up for you at your room. As well, they will tell all of your guests to wait outside of their villa's so that they can catch a ride as well around 20 minutes before your ceremony. I believe they sneak you around the back of the spa so that no one sees you If you are paying for a private dinner function and are paying per person, than yes, the bar is included in this cost and is open for the 4 hours of the wedding. Hope that helps! For the other ladies, hope you found my review ok!
  6. For Rashel Edwards and her assistant I only paid for guest passes for both, which was $80 each. Maybe the resort charges an actual "vendor" fee for photographers and DJ's, etc? Not really sure?
  7. Hi ladies. I just posted my review. Just let me know if you have any questions!
  8. Hi ladies, I just got an email from True Colours saying that they have shipped my package and it should be here Friday. They gave me a tracking #, which doesn't work as of yet, but I will let you know once I receive the pics and how they turned out. As well, write a full review of my wedding. It was a beautiful day and week at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton!
  9. Hi ladies! I got married at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton on April 23, 2013. I was waiting until I received my professional pictures from True Colours Photography before I did the review, as I also wanted to include them. I was supposed to get my pictures on a CD in 3 weeks. It has now been over 6 weeks, and they are no longer responding to my concerned emails. They kept saying it would be sent out, the day would come and go and I wouldnt even get an email explanation. I understand that they are very busy, but I am really concerned. Has anyone else used True Colours and had this issue?? Any feedback would be helpful, as I am completely freaking out!
  10. @oilersrock99 Sorry for the late response! I received the rest of the suits that I ordered for the groomsmen. They all came in and all seem to fit the guys and look good. As far as the customer service goes, the stain on my fiance's shirt never did come out. We brought it to the dry cleaners and they said there was nothing that they could do. We washed it, and it came out a little, but is still there. Studio Suits didn't take any responsibility for it. But gave us 20% off one of the groomsmen shirts. They told us that we could have sent it back to them and they would take a look at the stain, but that would have left us no time before the wedding and I'm not sure if they would have sent us a replacement. Our experience was good with them, except for the stain on the shirt. Good luck! Amanda
  11. Hi Heather, I have the sample swatches. If you would like me to mail them to you, please inbox me and I will send them off Amanda
  12. I don't know if forever, but it doesn't even show as an option on the website anymore! I picked Tropical Light Beige instead and had to order another one for my FI because he wants them all to be exactly the same, but online it says "Low Stock" in this colour as well! Hopefully I don't get another email telling me to pick another colour or I will just cancel the whole order! Good luck with your order girl!
  13. Hi brides. Just a warning. They are out of stock of "Tropical English Beige". I ordered a suit for my FI as a test last month, and went to go order all of the groomsmen in the same colour last week and they emailed me telling me that colour is out of stock. We now have to order another suit for my FI. Not too happy.
  14. Hi Brides! I ordered a test suit for my fiance before we ordered 5 more for all of our groomsmen. We ordered the waist coat and trouser set for $100 as well as a pure linen shirt for $50. Total cost for shipping was $20 and duty and taxes were $30, so all together $200. Although we are happy with the fit and quality of the waist coat and trouser set, the linen shirt came in with pink stains all over the shoulder and neck area. When I contacted Studio Suits last night, their response this morning was that they have very strict quality control and QC checks everything before it is sent out. However, I should take it to a dry cleaner and on the next order on the same shirt, they will give me 20% off. I'm not very impressed with this seeing as we dont know if they will be able to get the stain out at the dry cleaners. I'm not sure if we will go ahead with the rest of the suits, or if we do, I will just leave out the white linen shirt as I dont want to risk wasting an additional $250 on shirts with stains on them that I can't return or get refunded for. Just wanted to give you all a heads up and include some pics. Any questions, just let me know! Amanda
