Hi Ladies!! I've been sneaking around these boards for a while now and I finally have some solid questions for those who have gotten married at GP Jamaica or plan on it. I'll be there for our wedding November 12-19 (wedding is Nov. 15 on the beach at 4pm). Does anyone have any ideas for the table setup at the Blue Lagoon? I have 50 guests and I want the dance floor to be incorporated into the whole flow not just off to the side. Did you have much trouble getting what you wanted setup? Any pictures would be a huge help!! Did any of you successfully negotiate prices with the resort in terms of reception and ceremony? I have 50 guests so for the ceremony they charge 20$ extra per person which equals approx. 2350$ for my ceremony alone. Seems a little silly. Does anyone else feel like considering the amount of revenue we are bringing to the resort these charges should be negotiable or lowered? I mean 20$ per person to set up an extra chair and a piece of cake? Just been weighing on my mind a bit. Thanks for your help! Kim (Toronto, Canada)
