  1. Isn't it $300 per person? so you can bring in $600? (hoping!)
  2. Damn. I was hoping for a miracle Oh well. thanks for checking in - and good luck!!
  3. we are having our ceremony at 3:30 to allow for pics from 4-5:30 when the sun sets. Apparently sunset is difficult to take pics against so they recommend an hour or 2 before it.
  4. Hey Donna - How did it go? I see you wrote that 6 days ago so hoping you have some fab results to report? I leave in 3 weeks exactly for our wedding in Cabo and my final dress fitting is in one week.... I'd like to lose about 3-4 pounds before we go. I'm doing the Wild Rose cleanse right now - if anyone hasn't done it ... I recommend it. I do it every spring and fall for health reasons but you usually drop a couple of pounds and it also makes you much more aware of what you are putting in your face!
  5. Hey Ladies! 3 weeks until we leave to go.... and I feel like I have most things under control.... well except the brother and sister-in-law who decided to get a divorce about a month ago - and so we had to change everything and cancel her flight - even though she couldn't get her money back... and then today - find out they are going to try to give it another shot. So I have to regig everything again - go back to the resort with new table seatings, menu choices etc.... and wait til monday to hear from our travel agent if she can still come on the trip she paid for but cancelled.... Ah family drama. Feels good to vent amongst people who understand. ANYWAY - With 3 weeks to go - I was wondering what you guys have on your todo lists? I don't want to forget anything - and so I figured if some of you could share those last minute to dos - then we can all be sure we aren't missing anything. For me - I picked up kids gifts for their min oot bags, Practice first kiss (they say this is important) practice first dance Need to buy new suitcase (mine broke last week) finish downloading all music buy sexy underwear for night of wedding pack oot bag boxes and own luggagge wrap bm and gm gifts Finish welcome book - update and finalize agenda Crafts to finish escort cards, door hangers Book Car to take us to the airport (taxi or towncar for group) Take Ring in for cleaning before we leave Oh yah... write vows Write Bride and Groom thank you speech
  6. Speaking of excursions, can anyone offer any suggestions of tour operators for scuba diving, sunset/party cruises, snorkling etc. Would love some recommendations. thanks!
  7. Has anyone done any excursions in Cabo? We have 55 adults coming and I'd like to offer some suggestions of activiites ie. snorkling, scuba diving or cruises but would love some recommendations of brides who have been on these trips. thanks!
  8. I have another question for you Dreams Brides - what did you do about kids meals? I have a 2 year old, 4 year old, 5 year old, and an 11 year old. We are doing the gold plated meal but I keep getting conflicting info about what the options are for kids. Anyone able to tell me how they fed children and the price of their meals?
  9. Ok - so now I'm back to thinking I want to book Neysa. After reading more of her reviews.... I'm so tempted. Can anyone confirm if they had to pay the resort to have her come on site? Or is she a preferred vendor?
  10. Oooh that would be awesome. I'm considering Neysa again too .If you could let me know what you think of both - that would be awesome!! And congrats on getting married yesterday!!!
  11. If they are preferred vendors (emporia and dj ricado are apparently) then you should not have to pay the fee! I confirmed we won't be paying the $95 for DJ Ricardo so you shouldn't either. Let me know what you find out.
  12. Oh yikes... no... but it was during the question and answer part which was farther along (after the presentation....). That was smart of you to tape it!!! Savvy!
  13. Hi ladies, I posted this on another thread but bc I have to make this decision soon, I thought I'd try this one too. I am currently finalizing my menu for November wedding at Dreams. On the webinar with Dreams that I attended (throug hthis site) it was asked and confirmed that we could offer 2 to 3 main meal choices from the Gold menu, as long as we put it on the name cards and told the resort in advance. Apparently now my planner Jessica is saying they only allow 2 choices. I said that on the webinar we were told we could have three but she said it is policy. I also know other brides getting married around the same time at Los Cabos are allowed to have their guests choose from 3. Could you provide any advice or does anyone have it in print from the resort that they can pick from 3 mains? That would be helpful. thanks!
