  1. Congrats TandTGlass! 150 guests paid?!?! That’s awesome. We have a MUCH smaller wedding party. We're expecting 20-25 people and 10 have paid their deposits. We’re planning an embarkation wedding for 3/24/13 onboard the Carnival Glory in Miami, FL. This is spring break week for our son and we always go cruising for spring break so it was easy for us to just add our wedding to our vacation routine. We’re a military family moving to Korea in June so this will be out last vacation in the states for a couple of years. We have been using our wedding website (danielandfelicia2013.com) as a communication tool to our sailing and non-sailing guests. Just finished up our formal invitations with personalized stamps this evening. Next item on the list is to put together our wedding favor gifts. I’m planning on giving our sailing guests ship luggage tags, prefilled rum runners and a magic bullet which are items that are a part of our personal cruise survivor kit, lol.
  2. Congrats TandTGlass! 150 deposits paid?!?! That's awesome. We're having a much smaller ceremony. Probably 25-30 people attending. Only 10 people have paid deposits but it's all good. We're getting married 3/24/13 which is spring break week for our 12 year old son. We always going on a spring break cruise so we decided to add the wedding to our annual routine. Hubby is military and we're moving to Korea in June so this will be out last vacation in the states too! We're planning a embarkation ceremony on-board the Carnival Glory in Miami. We've been using our wedding website (danielandfelicia2013.com) to communicate with our guests. I sent a electronic save the date and I just finished up our formal invitations today. Next item on the list is putting together our wedding favor gifts. I think we're going to do luggage tags, prefilled rum runners and a magic bullet which are all necessary items on every cruise we go on. But I haven't made my final decision.
  3. Hi everyone. We're getting married on board Carnival Glory on 3/13. This will be our 4th cruise together and I can't wait. We have a really small wedding party but I'm sure we will still have a blast. We're also getting married in Miami before the ship sets sail. We booked the deluxe romance package as well. Good luck girls!
  4. Hi Ladies, Hope this finds all of you well. I haven't been on this site in a while but I just finished our wedding website and wanted to get your comments. I would also appreciate if you cruise brides share your sites with me. Our site is danielandfelicia2013.com. Daniel and I will be getting married onboard the Carnival Glory on March 24th. We had initially planned to wed onboard the Breeze that same week but my husband is from PR and we wanted to spend a little time with his family who still lives there. Now that our wedding date is fast approaching I'm sure i'll be logging on a lot more.
  5. Hi JME! Congrats on you upcoming wedding! I haven't been able to get any pics from Carnival of where the ceremony will be held. As a matter of fact they won't give us the exact location of the wedding until 6 weeks prior to the wedding. The Breeze is going to be awesome and it's so exciting that we're going to be among the first couples to celebrate their ship.
  6. Annie, Thank you so much. Congrats on your upcoming nuptials ! That really sucks, I hate those white pillars, lol. I viewed several carnival weddings on YouTube last night and I had a feeling that, their response would be along those lines. In the package they sent me it said we could pay for flower upgrades but I guess that's only for the bouquets. Are all 34 of your guests going on the cruise? You all are going to have a blast! Did you do a wedding website? I'm almost done with mine. It was a lot of work w/all of the cruise info.
  7. Hello ladies! I was wondering if any brides are planning to get married on the new Carnival Breeze, which sets sail June 2012. My fiancé of 4 years and I were planning to get married on the Valor this March but we found out that we are expecting (baby due in June 2012) and had to push our date to 2013 (whoops, lol). So, now I’m trying to get everything finalized before our little bundle of joy arrives. We’re now planning on getting married on the Breeze on March 24th. I would like to hear from other Carnival brides to see how much personalization is allowed as far as décor. I’ve read conflicting stories in these forums. I’m Muslim and would like to have a little East Indian décor if possible.
