  1. We got married this past August, we booked a regular room and when we arrived they upgraded our room to a honeymoon suite. Free of charge. I did know that it would happen. I had the mother of another past bride inbox me on FB advising me that they would do it. So we decided to take our chances and book the regular room. If it didn't work out we were prepared to pay the difference.
  2. I got married at Dream PC in August 2012 the resort is beautiful. The staff is wonderful. We had roughly 37 adults and 7 kids. EVEY ONE enjoyed them self. You must remember ppl are funny. You may be reading reviews for ppl who are really anal or just chronic complainers. Everyone has a different opinion. If you have ANY questions please feel free to email me. I am more then willing to assist you. I have been studying this place for more then a year. Traveled, experienced & criticized the place. Good Luck
  3. So we have 50 days to go. I feel like this has been the longest year of my life. I wish I had more then a year to plan everything. We have been engaged for two years but it took me one year to decide on a venue. Not funny at all..... Finally I was convinced by a dear friend who is a travel agent to do a destination wedding. I must say that I am super happy I chose this way. It will end up costing us half of what we would have paid to do a NYC wedding. We have about 50 guest coming 6 of them are children and 3 teenagers. I chose this resort because I felt it would accommodate all of our needs. My guest are just as excited as we are. The kids can't stop talking about what they are planning to do. Our wedding will be on a Saturday @ 5pm, we are arriving four days before. Most of our guest will be coming in that Friday, but we do have some that chose to arrive earlier. As for planning I have been super busy with all of my DIY projects. I am a crafty person so to pay someone else to do my thing would be a no no. I have fun posting my project on another site I have joined. http://diy.weddingbee.com/profile/auguststarr We plan to bring our own center pieces, sashes, OOT bags, favor, runners, programs, wedding survival kits etc...... I cant wait for our guest to see the goodie bags we have for them. We wanted to thank them for attending our wedding. I'm about to freak out over our bags. (Note to future brides don't ship your things, they nay get stuck in customs) I have read nightmare stories about brides who dis so only to have the boxes arrive after they got married) I had to create a bag spreadsheet just to figure out who's bag will carry what. LOL Personally I can't wait for this to be over with. I just want to put my bathing suit on lay by the pool and sip on a strong drink while I exhaling. I"m almost to the finish line. Wish me luck.

  6. 71 days to go........... I can't wait for all the madness, prepping & planning to be over with. I just want to put my dress on and smile the whole way to the gazebo. LOL
  7. 12 Year Olds should be free. As long as they are 12 at the time of the visit.
  8. Hi I saw your comment and thought I'd share this link with you. It looks like the children should be free during your wedding date. Take a look: http://www.dreamsresorts.com/terms/2011/kidsfree.html

  10. Hello to all my brides and brides to be....... I'm getting married next year @ Dreams Punta Cana, I would love to get some advise and pointers from ppl who have married or visited the resort.â€
  11. WOW! I love your review. I too an planning to get married at Dreams, Punta Cana next year August. I have so many questions that you answered in your review. You gave a nice detailed description of what to expect. LOL I actually had to run and get a pin and post-its so that I can make note of each thing you mentioned like: Requesting to get married an hour later, the bringing of my own chair and table decorations etc... I was was wondering if you would be able to give me a ball park figure on the cost of the photo shoot. Congrats on your new union I wish you both the bed.
