  1. To ALL of you AMAZING ladies, We leave tomorrow (OMG!!!) and our wedding is on Sunday. No idea where the last year has gone. I'm a little freaked out but SOO excited at the same time. THANK YOU ALL for all the advice/answers/reviews/slideshows/everything over the last year. I couldn't have planned this without everyone's input. This forum was the best invention possible, I really have you all to thank for not going insane. THANKS AGAIN!!!!
  2. Beautiful pictures, thank you for sharing. Congratulations!!! Quote: Originally Posted by NJ2012 OUR TWO SLIDESHOWS.... http://molinaro.amorcitocorazonstudio.com

Rained right after the ceremony but didnt phase us. Good luck to all the brides!!! xox Sophia
  4. Hi Emily, You sound like you're freaking, which was me a few months ago. I'm used to all communication being efficient and their response time literally drove me nuts. If you can swing a site visit, I would 100% recommend that. If you can't, don't worry. The one thing I did realize as a result of that visit was that they note EVERYTHING. Response time stinks but they really do know what they are doing and are (almost) a wedding factory. We also liked that this resort is relatively smaller compared to other places we've gone to before and makes it easier to find your guests/friends at the pool area. We got a travel agent and got a group rate for our guests. Anyone who wanted to book (and almost all our guests did that) got that rate. Get a travel agent, they'll make your life a million times easier. We sent all our friends STD info on how to book their trip. We sent them the official wedding invitation but ended up changing the ceremony time after we met with our WC on the site visit. We made a facebook group and sent all our guest any info like that on there. Most were on board, others were word of mouth. They understand that some of the details may not happen until later so were very understanding. Good luck with your planning!!!
  5. We are coming down on Wednesday as well. Our group starts coming in on Thursday but most on Friday. Super excited, I'm sure we'll run into each other there. 6. Question: I already have 4 huge suitcases full of wedding things and by the looks of it I'm sure we'll end up with 6-8 bags ultimately. I have no clue how we're going to get all this stuff to the airport and then dealing with customs and then getting to the resort. The good thing is that we have a direct flight. The bad is that our families are out of town so we can't hand bags off. Any thoughts on how to handle this from past, present or future brides with similar problem? Thanks.
  7. Lindsey - just wanted to say I just got done seeing your pics again and I'm on emotional overload (and trying my best not to cry). You looked beautiful and seems like everyone had an amazing time. SOO happy for you! CONGRATS again! 8. I was there in April for our site visit and got to see the dance floor in almost every area (there were 2-3 weddings every day). It really depends on the way it's set up in relation to the tables. Based on my observations, guests seemed to use it the most when the floor was in the middle and tables around it, even if that means having some of your tables set up on the beach. Of course, this is just my suggestion. Tiny details seem to take over, good luck.
  9. CONGRATULATIONS!!! That has to be the best feeling ever!!! I'm soo glad to hear that everything was amazing!!! SOOO happy for you! Can't wait to read your review! Congrats again!
  10. Hey girlie! I had almost forgotten, you're a day before us. 1. On our site visit Gina informed us that they provide the sand/vases for the ceremony. However, I don't know how much of an overprice that is in comparison to Michael's or another comparative site here. 5. I used orientaltrading.com and the price was really reasonable for the maracas. Sign up for emails and you'll receive a code for free shipping. Hope it helps.
  11. I've been having the same issue lately and by lately I mean last 2 months. We discussed almost all details over during our site visit and that's the only reason I'm not having a panic attack. I agree with liua- cc the main email address and maybe try calling if you can. Good luck!
  12. That's perfect! Thank you!!! Quote: Originally Posted by beachbaby12812 Hi Asanyc. The round tables are 1.84 meters/diameters. So a 72" table overlay should suffice.
  13. Hey there Kariane, CONGRATS! Yes, we'll definitely be running into each other then. Very exciting and sooo nerve racking at the same time. I'm ready for it to be here already lol! See you soon! Anne
