I am sooooo excited!! I leave for Dreams next wednesday!! Wow has this past year flown by and this forum has been extremely helpful.

Yeah I Know i can't wait!! What day are you going down there?? We land that wednesday the 29th and most of our group comes on thursday but some will already be there and some are coming on wednesday with us.

Does anyone know if they provide a sand ceremony if you dont purchase one??

OK I am a exactly one month away and had a few questions.... 1. Does the resort provide the sand ceremony?? Ithought I remember reading somewhere that they did provide that. 2. For cake cutting should we bring our own knife for that also?? 3. Did they give anyone a hard time or do a bad job with the pressing of the dress and husbands clothing?? 4. Did anyone use bubbles or are you allowed to have bubbles for after the ceremony?? 5. Looking for plain maracas to order as favors. Can anyone recomend a site that is not ridiculously priced?? I would need about 65 pairs of maracas That is all i can think of right now but as with everything else I am sure I will remember anything else after I post this.

My future MIL went down to see the hotel and I don't they are called fire ants but sand ants were a problem. Apparently from spilled drinks and food at the reception they were around and ended up all in the brides dress. Apparently they were bad and she ended up throwing her dress away. You have to figure when you are dining outside nature is a part of your meal wether you like it or not.

OK LADIES I HAVE FINALLY FOUND TIME TO GO TRY ON DRESSES AND THIS IS THE ONE I FELL IN LOVE WITH. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS DRESS (I JUST DIDNT LOVE THE $1500 PRICE TAG THAT CAME WITH IT). I CAN'T SEEM TO JUSTIFY SPENDING THAT MUCH ON SOMETHING I KNOW I WILL RUIN EITHER BY SPILLING STUFF ON OR JUMPING IN THE POOL DURING/AFTER THE RECEPTION. WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD BE ABLE TO MAKE THIS DRESS FOR ME?? HOW DO I GO ABOUT HAVING IT MADE? WHO DO I CONTACT? I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE AND OR HOW TO START THIS PROCESS..... PLEASE HELP!!!

Yes you can. I just put down $100 deposit to hold my date and then we changed to the ultimate package. You just email them and let them know. Make sure you keep all of your emails and even print them before you go so you have record of the changes and agreements.

We will have the video playing for people to see either on the main tv when you walk in or on teh projection screen. ALso will have photos under a protective plastic layer scattred on our island where all the dip and appetizers will be.Then we figured a DJ and mexican themed decorations and favors. We want something more casual and everyone is really excited for both. I figured maybe set up a sand type area with a funny beach background they can take photos by. What I have learned during this whole planning process is that you will never make everyone happy so just focus on what you want and what will make you happy. Just try to ignore the comments and remarks and everything will work out just fine.

It would have to be more than 30 mins. Also you get the video for 30 mins so im assuming they would have to be around longer then too. I thought it said all day coverage??
