I am getting married May 18, 2012 at the Hard Rock Resort & Casino. I read that May is rainy season in DR so I am a little worried about the weather but it is the Caribbean so rain is always possible.

First, does anyone have any idea why the VIP Events web page isn't linked through the Hard Rock Punta Cana website? I am about to put down the deposit for our May 18, 2012 wedding package at HR and I feel like many of the other resorts have more thorough information about the wedding packages. I'm hoping that HR/Palace Weddings is going to give us more info once we pay the deposit. Also, can anyone tell me what happened after they paid the deposit to confirm their wedding date?
