My hubby did exactly what you're doing: we got married by Scenic Las Vegas Weddings at Valley of Fire and we rented a coach bus for the rest of our guests. (By the way, if Melissa is your photographer, you will LOVE her - she's just awesome! I know her husband is also a photographer there too and his pics are also incredible - the company is run by Melissa and her husband which I really liked since I always prefer to support family-owned businesses) If you're looking for a reliable bus company, I highly reccomend Canyon Coach lines. We rented a 29 seat coach for 5.5 hours (from the Strip to Valley of Fire and back) and it cost $335 plus $35 gratuity for the driver. Hi Meseh; The grounds at the Flamingo are gorgeous - lots of lush vegetation, beautiful pool areas and private gazebos. The only thing is that there do tend to be a lot of people there milling around looking at all of the animals (yes, there really are flamingos here!) and walking the grounds so you would just have to be ok with people peeking in on your ceremony. The Flamingo is one of the older properties on the Strip so the inside itself isn't quite as "up-to-date" as Caesar's palace, but the wedding package prices are much less expensive and there are more "extras" thrown in (i.e. 2 night stays, more photography, etc.) with the packages. There's also a quaint sense of old-Vegas nostalgia with the Flamingo whereas Caesar's Palace is a quintessential glitzy Vegas property so it really just depends on your personal preference. Hey! If you like the vintage, "old-glam" idea, you might want to check out Mandalay Bay's "Vintage Vogue" wedding package I've stayed at the Mandalay Bay and it's gorgeous; very chic and modern. There's also a lot of good restaurants in Mandalay Bay too if you're thinking of doing a reception afterwards. (And FYI, the "House of Blues" restaurant is right off of the casino floor and it's amazing for Happy Hour) The only thing about the Mandalay Bay is that its right at the south end of the strip so it's not quite as convenient as some of the other casinos are. There is the tram which connects you to Luxor and to Excalibur. Otherwise, you're looking at walking towards the rear of the MGM to hop on the monorail (it's a good 15 - 20 min walk from Mandalay Bay) which is a really convenient way to explore the strip (definitely do the all day pass - it's the best bang for your buck). There's always cabs of course too, but they get pretty pricey when you're coming from one end of the strip to the other. Good luck with your search! Les

We had our reception at Tender Steakhouse at the Luxor - it was amazing! If you're looking for a great steak/seafood restaurant, this is it. Price are reasonable (menu is online) and I found the service to be excellent.
