We will be staying at Couples Swept Away July 2July 31. Getting married July 26 at 4 pm....how about you?

Another thing I forgot to mention Couples Swept Away is a Couples Only Resort, so no children or singles allowed. I don't know if you want that. We did LoL

We chose the beach front verandah suite. We were going to do the beachfront suite but it doesn't have a lcd tv, some of the rooms don't have the tv's so that you get the true island experience, and well we have to have a t.v. lol. So that is why we chose that room. We don't get butler service but I heard that they have the best attitude towards their guests, they make you feel very special. I know when you lay on the beach you put your flag up and they bring drinks to you, and I heard their service is wonderful. It just depends on what your wanting to do. I know in Negril they have a lot of beach parties and a lot going on on the beaches, its a bit more tropical than Montego Bay. Montego Bay is more city like. I am from Charlotte Nc so I didn't want to be near the city. I wanted the true Jamaican feel. Im also doing a beach wedding so the beach aspect was very important to me. I went back and forth for so long at where to get married. From all the research I have done (and that is a lot) and from getting advice from people who have been to Jamaica, Negril has the most beautiful beaches. I don't know how important the beach is to you, but Ocho Rios and Montego Bay have very small beaches and you have to stay in a particular area for each resort. So if your not too concerned with the beach aspect and you want nice hotels then it doesn't matter. I am staying at Couples Swept Away in Negril mainly because it is very tropical looking and it has the nicest beach. I hope this helps.

Desperately seeking advice....I am having my wedding in Negril Jamaica at 3pm. How was the weather? Does anyone have any pics that they would like to share ( I would be so appreciative)

Hey ladies! I just booked my wedding for July 26, 2011 at Couples Swept Away at 3 pm!!! I am so excited. I went back and forth for so long on the time to have the ceremony bc of the rain. I finally decided to just chance it and go with what I wanted.... Any other future Jamaican Brides........?????

Does anyone have any advice on the time for the ceremony!!!! I am having such a time trying to decide when to have the ceremony ( I don't wan't it to be too early and feel rushed) But I also want fabulous pictures and decresed chaance of showers..... Can anyone share their thoughts on this!!!!! BTW my wedding is at the End of July 2011 = )

Iced coffee- I feel the same way. I don't think anyone can do my makeup like I can lol. I think Im just going to go to like a MAC counter and get a makeover right before the wedding and splurge on some good makeup. As far as the pics Ive seen on the hair done at the resort, they all look very good. BTW when is your big day? Are you going to couples swept away 2? Im still trying to decide when to have the ceremony, I swear everyday I wake up I change my mind on the time. I just don't want it to rain since I am playing so much for a photographer to take beautiful pictures. ALso, any thoughts on "trash the dress"???

Iced Coffee: I have been all over the messgae boards and found some pics of peoples hair but have been unable to find any of the makeup. I want to see pics to decide whether or not I should do my own makeup or not.

I am planning a wedding at Couples Swept Away for July 2011!!! Im so excited but am trying to find more information on the beauty services that they provide! Does anyone have any pictures of their hair and makup done by the resort? Any advice would be so appreciated. Goodluck to all the FUTURE BRIDES =)
