Hi Kathleen, I am in exactly the same boat...Canadian, living in Sydney, just got engaged to an Aussie, planning a wedding in Hawaii (9hrs from both Canada and Australia, so its fair) and setting a date around the end of Sept-early October. The only difference is that I am planning Oahu, not Maui. Wow, what a coincidence. Best of luck for your plans, I am still just starting too.
