We are getting married on that Monday, April 11th so we didn't have to pay the extra $400. We figured every day is a Saturday on vacation! It does get so expensive for the private reception! I think we are going to stick to the 3 hour limit and then move the party to The Blue Parrot after dinner! I hope it goes smoothly with that transition though!

Hi! I am new to posting but I have been reading posts for a LONG time trying to get as much info as possible! I am getting married on April 11th, 2011 at The Gran Porto Real also. Does anyone have any examples of the photographers work? Also, does anyone know what the options for the menu for a private reception are?
