Hey Everyone, Â Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends! Â I am new to this website. A friend who just recently had a destination wedding in the DR reccomended that I use this site. Â I am very excited to start the wedding planning process. I have been engaged for almost a year. We have decided that this is an amazing alternative rather than getting married here. It's hard for me to justify spending 30k + for one day/night. Why not have an entire week! Â Â We are looking to get married at The Riu Sante Fe or the Riu Palace in Los Cabos but are open to any suggestions! Â Los Cabos holds a special place in both our hearts. It was my fiance's first trip. He had never been on a plane let alone to an all inclusive resort. It was so amazing with the sea lions, and the whales and the arc is so beautiful! Â We are looking to get married in and around July or August of next year (2011). Â A lot of our friends are teachers, and we want to be able to share the time with them as well. Also it seems to be a low season for tourism and it drives the prices down. We don't want to put anyone out. We are also looking at putting some money down to make everyone's flights/tickets cheaper. Â Would love it if someone could let me know how to even approach going about this entire process!! I feel so lost. Â I am so looking forward to start the planning process.
