  1. That product sounds amazing. The only thing I am nervous about is 1> the price 2> I have very oily skin, I usually end up blotting oil from my T-zone within 4hours of applying anything to my face. I dont think the waterproof primer would survive very long with my skin constantly trying to rid itself of it! My dream would be to not have to wear foundation, maybe just some blush, But that may not be realistic seeing as my "Canadian Tan" for a wedding in December wont allow for the best/even complexion....to shoppers I go
  2. Does anyone know if you need to book a symbolic ceremony in advance--simalar to finding out if a date is available for the legal ceremony? The symbolic ceremony doesnt require the booking of a judge...so I am thinking you dont have to book it that far in advance? am I way off here?? Thanks everyone!
  3. Oh Thanks for the comment Sandy! I thought we were weird to not want to go through all the hassle as it IS your wedding day--Its all a mindset I think. The Real wedding like you said will be at Dreams. The one you remember anyway. We are actually hoping to have one of our guests (a pastor) do our ceremony...that is if he decides to come! Otherwise the ceremony will be fine without him im sure, maybe we could also look into pastor Rick York. Its quite ironic, as my guest potential pastor's last name is york also. Does the Pastor in the DR have a fee like the judge would have?
  4. I would think that is just a generic email saying "sorry your requested dates are not available". BUT maybe she was confused with your dates? Have you tired emailing back re-stating WHAT Year you are requesting, and politely saying you think her email was a mistake--March 2010-- wise?  Has anyone on here had/ going to have just a symbolic ceremony? My F and I are just going to get married at city hall a couple weeks before the trip, and keep it on the downlow so guests still assume they are attending our "wedding". My travel agent actually said we would save some money doing this too. Any experiences with this kina thing?  Thanks   Danielle   _________________  DPB Dec6th 2011
  5. I like number 1 too, but also noticed some underwear showing! Â Maybe you could just crop the photo high enough to get rid of that? Â
  6. I bought my dress online from eastbridal.com and it was only 165$ INCLUDING shipping from China! Most of the dresses you try on in stores in North America are from China anyway. This website is just a direct line, no middleman and the savings are huge! Shiping took about 20 days (you can pay to have it rushed if needed). I'm going to have it tailored here, so Im thinking that will add another 100 onto the price. I think if you know what you want, and are willing to take a 'risk' by ordering a dress without having seen it in real life, you are in for a great deal~! If you hate it, just return it. All you loose is shipping.
