If they do strike there is no way that they will strike for long. Not during the high season. A negotiation will be reached either before they strike or shortly thereafter......just my opinion.

Well thanks to Sunquest we have had to change our January 14, 2011, wedding from the Riu Palace Macao to the Ocean Blue resort. I was upset at first but now I think it happened for a reason. I like the Ocean Blue way more then I ever liked the Riu and it's cheaper!

Thanks, I have a few more questions for everyone: We have decided to go with the Blue Affair package for our wedding. Just wondering what additional items/services you can recommend from the "Additional Services" list? It seems like the package covers the basics and I really can't figure out what else I will need Also when it says that a sound system is included - does that include an Ipod docking station? If no can we order one from the hotel? I guess we could always bring our own too. Â Thanks!

Approx. how much more is the honeymoon suite then the standard Junior Suite? We are getting married at the Ocean Blue in Jan, 2011. Thinking of booking the honeymoon suite before we go but haven't talked to our travel agent about it just yet,

Hi there. We are getting married January 14, 2011 at the Riu Palace Macao in Punta Cana. After flip-flopping resorts for weeks trying to decide which to go to we went with the Riu. I have heard nothing but good things from everyone and anyone who has ever stayed at the a Riu. Staff is supposed to be wonderful and the food is supposed to be great. Plus the beaches at the Riu Palaces are supposed to be a lot more private then at most resorts - so that is great for a beach wedding.

I am sure this has been asked before but I am new to this site and can't seem to find this information. We are having our wedding on the beach in Punta Cana at sunset. My bridesmaids are wearing yellow dresses and the groomsmen in khaki shorts and white shirts with faint yellow stripes... what are my parents supposed to wear??
