Hey Ladies, Â I have recently been thinking of moving our wedding from Cancun because of all the "warfare" going on. For anyone that has been there recently did you have any concerns with safety? Â I am sure its fine however my better half is al ittle apprehensive about going there now. His main concern is that the government will have even less control of the drug lords next year when our wedding is scheduled. Â I could see it going either way, but I would love some reassurance from anyone out there that Cancun is safe to travel to! I am madly in love with Dreams Cancun and hate to even think about moving the wedding somewhere else. Â

Hey Ladies - Sorry to barge in on the forum. But I am looking to have my wedding in Cancun, preferably at Dreams! And I was wondering if anyone could share their budgets/prices. The wedding planner there hasnt gotten back to me and I would hate to leave a deposit if I ultimately cant afford the place. Any help would be appreciated!

Good morning everyone!!! I figuered the best way to do this was to JUMP right in! I am newly engaged and our "unofficial" wedding date is September 10, 2011! We really want to do a destination wedding but I am sure alot of you can relate that we are extremely budget conscience. And we need to get the best bang for our buck! We started looking at Cancun because we love Mexico and I cannot get away from the Dreams Resort Cancun. It looks amazing! Although I need to keep researching for other resorts and locations! I am excited to read reviews and see actual footage of hotels to help make my decision! If anyone is reading this, I am also open to suggestions so fire away!! ~M
