I'm not sure if this question has already been answered but I can't seem to find it. I was legally married in mexico in april 2011 and am trying to figure out how to obtain a marriage certificate here in Ontario, Candada. If anyone has been through the process and knows what to do please help!!!!

Wow I am getting married in 7 weeks and this is the first I have heard of our marriage not being legal when we get back to Canada????? I'm a little worried now.

Hi ladies, I am wondering if anyone who got married at the Akumal side had their dinner at the Dolce Vita restuarant and if you happen to have any pictures? Your day sounds like mine lol. I'm getting married april 2011 at Akumal with the ceremony at 4pm, then dinner at the Italian restaurant. We are still debating on the poolside reception but I think it would be worth it! Let me know how the day goes!

Hello, This resort was recommended to us by our travel agent. It was one of our top 3 choices and what made it the final decision was the pricing. Our goal was to have our guests pay $1500 or under, and we got it for just a little bit over. Some of our other favourite hotels were closer to $1800. I also checked out this site and trip advisor for reviews and pictures and liked what I saw!!! Good luck with your move back to brampton!!! If you end up choosing GBP we should keep in touch for the planning process! jessica

Hi jennifer, i'm also getting married at the bahia akumal and am looking to see pictures to decide on a wedding location (gazebo, beach, etc.) and where to have our reception. Have you chosen anything yet?
