WOW, is all I have to say about DJ Mannia, he was awesome. I was SUPER nervous about the music and the introductions and if they would be reliable, and they truly exceeded all my expectations. He was also very accomadating for our appointement because I had to reschedule due to my flight being cancelled. He was very professional, polite and easy to work with. I gave him CD's with the music I wanted played and for the introductions and he did exactly what we wanted. My guests and I did not stop dancing all night and everyone commented on how great the party was. I would definitely recommend his services and would use him again myself GOOD LUCK !!! Hello everyone, we just got back from our wedding at the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana on 2/13 and i just wanted to let all the Punta Cana brides not to worry, it was everything I always dreamed of and more. Our trip didn't start off very well because our flight got cancelled last Wednesday because of the snow storm in New Jersey, but after a lot of stress and $ we finally made it before the wedding. I would definitley recommend when you purchase your airfare, to buy the insurance and go through a travel agent, they are miracle workers. Continental cancelled our flight on Wed and could not got us on another flight until Monday, my wedding was Saturday so obviously that wouldn't work. THEY DON"T CARE AND DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY PUT YOU ON THE FLIGHT THE NEXT DAY. Anyway we finally made it and my wedding day was AMAZING !!!! The romance staff at the Paradisus Palma Real are awesome, patient, and so accomadating....Thank you so much Maria, Lenny & Noelia!!! We used DJ Mannia and he was GREAT and sooooo nice, would absolutely recommend his services to anyone. My photographer was Jorge Allocco ( i contracted Hispaniola Photo and they work with Jorge) My videographer was great too, Sergio. They took beautiful pictures and were also very nice to work with. The staff at the resort were all SOOOOOOOOOO nice, and I mean everyone regardles of whether or not they were receiving tips. The hotel is GORGEOUS, GREAT FOOD and we had an amazing time. I just wanted to let all the Paradisus Palma Real brides not to worry, your day will be PERFECT !!! Good Luck to you all smile159:

Hello again, i'm getting married in 2 weeks at the Paradisus Palma Real and I'm very worried after reading some blogs on this site about photographers in Punta Cana. I noticed that nobody has mentioned the photograher we contracted, Hispaniola Photo. I guess there isn't much I can do now, but was hoping somebody out there knew something about them, good or bad at this point. I'm just getting a little freaked out Thanks !

Hi everyone, i'm getting married at the Paradisus Palma Real on 2/13/10 and was wondering if anyone had any info/feedback on the photographer I contracted, Hispaniola Photo. When i booked my wedding there he was the resort photographer, but once it was time to sign the contract, i was informed he no longer contracted through them directly, but they could still do my wedding since we booked him in 2009. I've been reading all the blogs and i'm just a little nervous because i hadn't read that anyone has used them before. Any information would be appreciated.....THANKS

Hi Lindsay, I'm getting married at the the PPR on February 13th and my maid of honor made really pretty topiaries with sea shells for our centerpieces. It can be very expensive to buy the centerpieces from them, especailly if you want something other than flowers. If you have someone that is pretty crafty, maybe you can consider bringing your own like we are. Good Luck and Congratulations
