Anyone here from the London area? Leaving for Dominican out of Toronto, Gran Bahia Punta Cana Esmeralda Feb 11th, 2012. Were getting married Feb 16th at 4pm. It's approaching fast!

I'm going in Feb 2012...I would like to know how much to tip as well.

I'm getting married in 2 weeks at the Esmeralda on Feb 11th! Is there any advice or tips that you would be willing to share with me? I'm trying to plan everything, but most happens when you get down there....so anything you have for me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Rosie

I just love all the information that this site has to offer so far! I'm from the London, Ont. area and getting married at the Gran Bahia Principe Esmeralda Feb 16th 2012. Just booked our deposit to confirm the wedding date at the hotel, and they charged it twice, lol! Hope that this is the only glitch...

I booked at the Bahia Principe Esmeralda for Feb 2012 with a TA. She quoted a group rate of $1881 pp, and I have already been told by some ppl that they wont be attending due to the cost...but the TA assures me that there should be a one time price reduction. I don't really want to count on it though!! Then get this, children stay free....but not in the month of FEB!!! It doesn't mention that until you go to book!

We are planning our wedding for Feb 2012 at the Esmeralda. I have stayed at the Royal Golden 3 years ago but it that part of the resort had not been built yet. Are all the suites the same at the Esmeralda or do you have the option to upgrade for the wedding couple?
