I was also wondering the same thing about the flowers! Is it really worth the hassle of trying to buy flowers elsewhere for a cheaper price or just buying them from the resort?? Does anyone know how much the bridesmaids bouquet are??...I keep asking Ana about the reception and where it takes place, but she never answers my question. Do I get different options for the reception?

I came across this forum and i think it's a great idea! I am getting married at the DRC on Nov 6, 2010 and I am so excited yet confused...I am not sure which package to choose from, either the love or ultimate but not sure what the big difference in price is for the dinner either silver or gold. I know its an extra $60 for more than 20 guest and i hate that part, I'm planning on having 40-60 guest. I also asked Ana if I could exchange the cocktail party for extra guest or maybe even for the rehearsal dinner and she said the package is what it is... I find that odd. Hope the planning runs smoothly

Hi there! I just fell in love with the resort, i hope everything runs smoothly. I do have a travel agent but all she did so far was give us some prices for the resort. I am planning on having around 40-50 guest and not sure which package would be the best. I wasn't to fond of the extra charge past 20 guest, that would be over $60 a person plus the cocktail hour. I would prefer not have a cocktail party or even have it another day (rehearsal dinner) but anna told me that the package is what it is
