Hello Ladies, I'm getting married there November 27th 2010. Did any of you have to book your package or stay right already in order to complete the confirmation process? I've been trying but its too far ahead right now and they don't have the flights and such yet. I know they usually have like tons of flights going out but right now they only have flight bookings available for Saturdays which doesnt really work for me since the wedding is on the 27th and if we book a package from the 20th that would mean I would have to leave on the wedding day...so makes no sense. Did you book your travel and stuff already and confirmed the process?

Hey everyone!! I just got engaged 3 months ago, (most spectacular proposal, will write about it later) and am now in the process of planning a wedding at the Riu Palace Punta Cana in Dominican Republic on November 27th 2010. We have already picked out invitations (in the process of ordering them), booked the photographer and actually found THE dress!! I look forward to having everything sorted out few months before the wedding to avoid all the last minute stress so I've started planning a little early I guess. I am looking for any advice you can offer me when it comes to coordinating a destination wedding and believe this place is just such a great resource when it comes to finding out all the info I've been searching for. Any guidance, tips and such would be much appreciated If any of you have had or attended a wedding at the resort please feel free to let me know how it went
