Has anyone stayed at Sandals Negril and booked tours? We are going there in May and booked the horse back ride and canopy tour. We are thinking about doing the rum tour also. Anyone Does anyone have any feedback they could leave?

I am getting married at Sandals Negril in May 2010. We chose that resort since there is going to be a child and Beaches Negril is very close by. The beach looks great too and they do have the tours there. We already booked the canopy tour and the horseback ride and swim. We are also thinking about doing the rum tour.

Did the marriage officiant still do the sand ceremony reading even though you didn't pay the $100 and use their vases?

We are getting married at Sandals Negril in May 2010. 213 days! Has anyone done the sand ceremony or unity candles? I asked the wc for pics but she only sent a pic of the sand vases and said she wouldn't recommend the candles for the outdoor wedding. I am not really impressed with the sand vases. Does it really get that windy? Also does anyone know what the candles look like? Can you bring your own vases or candles? I saw these that I really like: David's Bridal - Swarovski Crystal Lace Heart Unity*Candle Set Sand Ceremony Unity Set Sand Ceremony Kit I am still looking around, but I really want something personalized.

We are going to Sandals Negril in May 2010 for our wedding. We have it scheduled for 4PM. However after finding this site and looking at through some posts I am reconsidering the time. Can anyone give me some advise who has had a wedding there? Is it nicer and cooler in the morning? What would be the most private? From what the wedding planner sent us we were thinking of doing the gazebo near the ocean. I am actually starting to have second thoughts about the whole thing. Any information would be very helpful!
