Hi Ladies We are staying at the Coba, and our wedding coordinator is Karla. She has been really great so far and quick with the responses. When we dealt with Paloma initially she took a bit longer to reply but still no issues to complain about. Although we have not set up all of our plans yet, so I am hoping we don't get the same inconsistency that some of you have had with pricing and the other things they offer. We don't want a DJ either and we were hoping to use the ipod, so I will let you know what they tell us. Lorina

Hey Dawn, so far so good, it hasn't been too stressful. Luckily we have a good TA and the wc Karla has been pretty prompt with answering questions. I haven't run into any glitches like some of the ladies on here, and lucky for us there are great tips on here. I am wondering about the ipod set up though, since we were not going to have a DJ. Seems like that may be an issue. How are things going for you??

We are also getting married in April, Mayan Riviera. I haven't had any luck on my own to find a cigar roller so I have asked our wc for some help with this, I know my FI will love it if we can find one. I will pass on any info

Thanks for sharing we don't want to end up with that scenario, also due to the extra cost I think we will not be doing a poolside reception, hubby to be wont budge on that. Once all our group arrives we are planning to have a welcome reception on our second night to greet our guests and give OOT gifts to the group. We were looking for a bar to have cocktails where we can talk to everyone. Karla suggested the Daquiri bar and apparently has live music each night. Anyone have any comments about this bar or suggestions for us. Thanks

a suggestion from my hairstylist who won't be making the trip was to google images of "elegant updos". A lot of celebrity cute styles come up. I have not gone to this site but saw it in another post Hair Comes the Bride Home Page - Bridal Accessories Hair and Makeup good luck
