I leave on Saturday and we are using the resort Photographer. I heard they are really good - not "professional" good, but most people were exremely happy with them. I will post my pics once I get back and you can take a look and decide for yourself... Good Luck!

We heard that there is no guarantee on the upgrade, and that you only get it if there are rooms available. We were going to pay for the upgrade, but decided to take our chances, because it seemed like more people were upgraded than those who weren't. Good Luck!

I am also curious as to what the tipping trend is for the Wedding Coordinator adn the staff at the private restaurant. We are 5 weeks away and panic is setting in!! I have nothing left to do but wait...I am wondering if this is more stressful than planning a big at home wedding... Any recomendations on what location to use? We are about 40 people, and I want to make sure there is lots of room.

Just wondering if there are any other weddings the week we are at the Melia Las Dunas! We are only 5 weeks away...and I am starting to panic a bit. I have just ordered another dress, and I am second guessing my choice for the groom's outfit!! I think the lack of things to do is not helping my situation...so I just sit here and think about it!!

How much was the cost of the catamaran excursion? I was thinking of getting our guests to come with us on that excursion. How long was the bus ride to the catamaran? Does anyone know if I brought my own music, that they would use that instead of the cheesy music they put on the video? I am thinking if I give them a CD with the music I want, they can use that for our video. How accomodating do you think they will be on this? It would save us the trouble of redubbing it later on. Hi! I have a question about photographers - How much did it cost for the photographer? Do I have to book a photographer ahead of time? How much time do we get with the photographer? Do they give you a CD with all your pictures? Should I get one of the picture packages they offer? Who got a videographer? Were they happy with the finished product? Was it worth the $$? Converters - I tried to find some info on this and I sort of did - but it isnt clear. Do I need an electrical converter for the Melia Las Dunas? If I do - where can I get one? My niece is singing while I walk down the aisle, do they have a CD player and a microphone at the gazebo? When my parents walk me down the aisle, does teh officiant ask if he gives me away or whatever? I am thinking of having my parents walk down first, then me by myself...I dont have a bridal party. Thanks!

Ok - My husband to be was married before but it was annulled...so legally it never happened. Do we still need documentation? He never received any certificate or anything - we are getting married in December... Thanks in advance!!
