As another mom (and a behavior specialist), I think it is very hard to give up control, but the day is about you and your fiance. I would not give a lot of attention to the fact she is not going as this is probably for attention. I would simply tell her you want her there and give a few options and responsibilities. You're not going to change your wedding plans, so when that is realized hopefully it will work out! Congratulations!

My daughter is getting married at Beaches Negril July 15, 2010. Any advice is appreciated.
