Thanks for all the encouragement! I'm not sure why I picked this one. She told me once - she doesn't like oval diamonds and she doesn't like pear shaped stones. I feel like a fool. This one stood out from among the others at the store for its uniqueness. I suppose with all the choices, I got overwhelmed by the selection process.

I'm very unsure whether or not she'll like this. It's not the type of ring I imagined I would end up getting. I have a large dose of buyer's remorse and I couldn't fall asleep until 4AM last night thinking about it. It's apparently a Simon G (not sure if that means much) and I found that it is model # LP1145. Part of a set, but the jeweler apparently didn't have the matching band.
