Thanks Binzer for starting this thread - there really aren't that many of us Costa Rica brides out there! I'm planning an August 2010 wedding in the Tamarindo area, my planning is just getting underway, so I don't have much advice I can give yet. I did visit CR last May for vacation, which is where my fiance proposed and we fell in love with the country. Good luck with all the planning ladies!

Hello, My fiance and I are planning an August 2010 wedding in or around Tamarindo area, as we had our recent vacation at near by Playa Grande (which is where we got engaged). We really want either a boutique hotel or a villa which can manage 40-50 guests, as we're looking for an intimate wedding rather than one at a larger hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips? All advice really appreciated!

I just got engaged last week while on vacation in Playa Grande, Costa Rica. My fiance (wow so weird still!) and I loved it so much we're thinking of getting married there. Any advice anyone has, would be really appreciated!
