  2. Yikes, I'm actually next?! Reality is setting in...only 1 week to go!!!! Just checked the weather forecast....rain showers. Ugh!
  3. We have made our final payment as well, and finally got confirmation back from Angie for our "rehearsal dinner" at The Royal. She said that she would now be passing us along to Zulma, my wedding coordinator at The Royal, as she'd be better able to answer the rest of my questions. Hopefully she'll be in contact with me soon!!!
  4. Does anyone know if Angie is still working there?? My wedding is on Feb. 5th, and am also trying to get some last minute questions answered and various things reserved!!! It's impossible to get a confirmation from her. Thanks!

  6. I've been dealing with Angie Hayes - (the US wedding coordinator), and have found her to be not very helpful. It takes weeks for her to respond to an email, and then she doesn't even answer my questions! I think my wedding coordinator at The Royal will be Zulma. Has anyone been in communication with her that can give me her email address? Or suggest how do I get in touch with someone at The Royal? My wedding is Feb. 5th, and I'd like to make some rehearsal dinner and spa reservations, and can't get my WC to respond to me so I can get something booked! Has anyone else had these issues? How far in advance do I need to have these sorts of things booked?
  7. Has anyone done a welcome/"rehearsal" dinner at The Royal PDC and tell me if they charge anything extra to do so? Since it's an all-inclusive resort, it doesn't seem like it should... It doesn't have to be private, I'd just at least like for our party (~30 people) to be seated near one another in one of the restaurants. Can anyone offer any insight and suggest the best restaurant at The Royal? Thanks!

  10. Leah, beautiful photos!!! I visited The Royal 2 days ago, and agree that the gazebo view is absolutely gorgeous! How many did you have at your reception? I'm trying to figure out how many could eating/dance there comfortably. I'm also trying to get an idea for the pricing of outside photography vendors - Would you mind sharing about how much Cecilia charged for the photography? Thanks and congrats!! - Alisha
  11. Hi ladies! I've reserved my wedding date (2/5/10) at the Royal in PDC, and am now trying to get an idea for how much this is all going to cost! Can anyone share what your experience has been as far as getting group rates/discounts for rooms and what the price per room ended up being? I realize prices fluctuate depending on the season, but if anyone is planning to or did go in the Jan-April time frame that would help me get an idea!! Thanks!
