So I have been looking into the la barcaza for my reception. Is anyone else doing this? My only concern is the ride to the boat, it takes 45min? I dont think my fiance wants to ride that long after the wedding. Plus it might be too late because my wedding is not until 6:30pm. Anyone else have a concern about transportation?

O also is everyone using the photographer and packages the resort has? I am not sure if I should get somone else or use their packages. Just wondering what everyone else has decided.

Can someone send me some information about the boat for a reception? Is that a better option then the terrace? I have about 25 people coming so far and i am just wondering what my options are. jessica_mcaulay@ccpsnet.net

Hello ladies! Sorry its been awhile work has been crazy. But I was wondering if anyone had ideas about the reception dinner at one of the restaurants. I wont be having many people at my wedding so a private reception is not necessary. Which restaurant would be best for the reception dinner? I have no idea and I cant find any pictures anywhere that shows me what they look like. Any help?

Thanks girls.... Ill have to talk it out with the FI about shoes and decorations. NsBride: The sticky inserts work and give you some shape and boobs for smaller ones. But I know your wedding is in July so if you start to sweat there might be a chance those things can get less and less sticky. I had a friend when we were out all of a sudden caought her gel insert as it was lsiding down. Now if your dress is tight that should hold them in place and work just fine. Another idea what I did in high school (when I was an A) for my prom was I had a strapless bra that had some crucial padding and my dress was a tie back like that. So I cut the bra (the chunk out the back) and sewed it into the inside of my dress that way the back still looked beautiful but I had boobs too. It worked like magic.... So whatever you are more comfortable with and overall looks the best.. Good Luck!

Another thing.... I have not decided on the wedding gazebo or the beach. I am trying to be the most efficient with my money and it comes down to decorations for gazebo $350 and decorations for beach $350. Is anyone doing the gazebo without any decorations? I am not sure what it will look like. I was also dead set on being barefoot/ flip flops. I mentioned this to my fiance he said nooo way! He wants me to wear heels. He said our pictures will look terrible if I dont ( he is 6'5 and I am 5'5) He said we have too many pictures already with just my head and half his head cut off! Haha So now I am torn...

I know this is unrelated to anything yall are talking about but... I jut bought my wedding dress!!! I went in to look because everyone said I should start looking now because it is a "process." Well I am very easy to please and just bought one off the rack! I didnt originially care what my dress looked like I was just waiting to see which dress everyone was like "wow when thye saw it on me.(my 2 sisters and mom went) They picked out really puffy, lace, beading and all kinds of other dresses. That is not my personality at all! EVeryone I put on I laughed at!!! I mean I am a PE teacher.... i dont do lace. I saw a girl next to me trying a dress on and I told the lady I want to try on that one. She said um ok... good thing the girl next to me wasn't my size I would have had to fight her for it!! But I got it put it on and fell in love!!!! its simple spaghetti strap that crosses in the back (tight around the rib cage and waist then flows out. No beads no lace just simple elegance... SO now I have a wedding dress in my closet that I have to stare at for 8 months! AHHHH O and the bra situation is another story!! Did anyone have an ordeal with that? You know how they give you the strapless bra that is a corset like thing aand apparently you where them underneath the dress. (Had no idea sorry) Well i told her i was a 34 D she did not believe me and brought me a 34 C it was so big around my body it was coming off with the dress. So then she brought me a 32 C. Perfect fit around the body but i was popping out of the top!!!! She said " o goodness". My response I told you I was a D. SO finally 32 D...yay that ordeal took longer than to find my wedding dress. Just thought I would share my crazy experience!!

I feel like just picking the resort and date was the hard part. I was so relieved when everything was confirmed. Now I think a lot of my plannign will depend on how many guests decide to come. The main thing I need to decide is whether I want to be married on the beach or in the gazebo. Also the reception private, or at a restaurant. Is anyone having theirs at a restaurant, if so which one is the best?
