  1. I just got marriede on June 5, 2010 at the Me Cabo Hotel on Medando Beach. The hotel was perfect for us because of the location and the party atmosphere. We had an all adult wedding with 45 people. The hotel has a great location right next to town and all the shopping. The pool during the day is a giant party and everyone would hang out together! The Service at Me Cabo was AMAZING! Since they only have one wedding per day they treat you like royalty. For our honeymoon we switched hotels to a more upscale experience and the Me Cabo service was way better. All of my guests could not stop raving about the service and the good times they had. Wedding Planner Paulina- Paulina is really good. I am a big planner and can be a bit of a pain, but she handled me so well! Paulina returns emails either same day or in 24 hours at the latest. She has never not returned an email! The wedding ended up being amazing because she worked so well with all my demands:) Paulina planned all of my flowers, cake, decorations and music. Alec and T photographer - I can not say enough good things about them!!! I am waiting on my final photos, but got a little preview on their blog and they are FANTASTIC. The whole experience with them was sooooo good. They are worth every penny and more! You must book them for your wedding b/c they really know what they are doing!! Here is the link: Los Cabos Wedding at Me Melia Photographers Alec and T. : Alec&T Hair and Makeup Suzanne Morel - Suzanne's team did all of my bridesmaids (6) and both of the moms hair and makeup! She did such a good job and I know that is another reason why my pictures turned out so well! She is so good at working with skin tones and the girls hair looked really good. No one could have done their hair like that on their own. They showed up to my hotel room and we had so much fun being pampered all day! I hope this helps a little bit! Overall I had an amazing wedding. Shani
  2. I rented a car for my site visit and thought it was really easy to drive around! We only rented for a couple of days and got a great deal through the hotel. They brought the car straight to the hotel we were staying at and gave us a great deal...25/day. I highly recommend it... and having a car gives you the freedom to check out many hotels and beaches that normally would cost an arm and a leg with a taxi cab. Shani
  3. I am getting married at ME Cabo on June 5, 2010 and was wondering if anyone else was getting married at this hotel. I am really starting the planning now and was just wondering if anyone else knew tips for Me Cabo regarding flowers and food! Thanks Shani
  4. I was having a hard time finding information on Senza salon. I am getting married at ME Cabo and the wedding planner said that they were doing my Hair and Makeup. I couldn't find much on them. Has anyone used them recently?
  5. Hello!! User Name: shanihoward2002 Name: Shani and Chris Location: Me Cabo Wedding: June 5,2010 in Cabo San Lucas
  6. Hello, I went for a site visit to the Palace and they operate as two separate hotels. If you have your wedding at Santa Fe they do want 80% of your guests to stay at the Santa Fe. If you have guests that want to stay at the Palace that is not included in your 80%. At least that is how the wedding planner explained it to me. Also if you want any outside vendors or guests to come they charge you 100.00 per vendor/guest and that can add up. I thought both the Santa Fe and the Palace were nice. Shani
  7. I just went down to Cabo for site inspections and I received a huge contract from Riu Palace for 2010 rates. Let me know if you would like more of the info, but you could easily do a wedding for the price range you are looking for. The wedding planner I worked with was Daniela Morales and she seemed really busy, but nice. I decided against the Riu Palace because of the requirement for 80 percent of the guests must stay at the hotel, pay for all inclusive and then we would have to pay a "set up fee" per person. I felt like it was a double charge because the guests already were paying for the food in the room rate. I know this is standard for all inclusive, but I did not like it. Other Hotels have about 60-80 dollars per person which I thought was a good deal. Hope this helps Shani
  8. I am 100% in for Mexico wedding, but not sure of the location! I was really thinking about Cabo b/c of the weather in June.
