Is there a review for the Ritz for the ceremony and the reception? I'm having a difficult time deciding whether to hold both events at either the Marriott or the Ritz. I've seen pictures of both places and they're stunning. My vision is to hold the ceremony on a lush green with the ocean and a mountain behind us with lots of privacy. Which one do you think can provide the most privacy and romantic setting I'm looking for?

Thanks Sherry for your quick response. They've helped ease my mind. How far is Seawatch from the Marriott? Do I need to shuttle guests or is it a walking distance? I'm also thinking of booking a few rooms at Maui Banyan for my side of the family. Is it easy to commute to the Marriott if we decide to hold the reception there? Thanks again Sherry.

hi paddleAddict, Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Do you know when Seawatch is going to open up their bookings? Mine is not until next year so I have some time, but don't want to miss out on booking at the Marriott if Seawatch doesn't open up. How far is Seawatch from the Marriott? Do I need to shuttle families and guests? Wondering if it would be easier for guests to stay in one place.

Seawatch is not booking anything after August 19, 2009 but our wedding is not til Feb 2010. Has anyone been to a reception at the Marriott or Hyatt or know of anyone who will be having their reception at one of the resorts? Also, is February a good time in weather wise to get married? My fiance and I are planning to get married in Maui in Feb 2010 and found out recently that their costs are pretty high. Do you think having both the ceremony and reception at Seawatch would cut down the price compared to having them at the resorts such as the Ritz or Marriott? Thanks! Thanda
