Just wanted to give a shout-out from another happy customer! We ordered a suit and shirt and had it in hand in less than 3 weeks! I emailed the company before we ordered and asked about rush delivery and same as with previous posters, they just told me to make mention of the day we needed it by in the notes and we didn't have any problems! The suit looks absolutely great and we couldn't be happier!

Hello! I am also having my reception at Kool Beach Club. However, after our Welcome Party the night before, we are inviting anyone who is interested in staying out a little longer to join us at Blue Parrot for drinks/dancing/fireshow - so we get the best of both worlds! The biggest difference I see between the two is privacy and the amount of space you will need. At Blue Parrot, they have party areas that are seperated from the bar/club but obviously you can still see/hear everyone at the bar so it just depends how much privacy you want. Also, in terms of actual space, to me Kool seemed quite a bit larger than Blue Parrots VIP terrace; however, if you are having a smaller group the VIP area at Blue Parrot would def work. When I saw Blue Parrot during my site visit, they actually had a wedding that night and I did sneak a peak of their set-up and it was very beautiful! I really enjoyed both locations and see positives at either place. Good luck!

Hello! My WC has a connection with Porto Playa so I stayed there in February during my site visit (for free!) and absolutely loved it! We have booked 3 rooms there for my fiance and I and our families for the wedding. We booked two of the condos next to each other (units 17 and 20) and are going to host our welcome party on the private adjoining rooftops! They have a great view and it's definitely something different! Porto Playa may not be right for everyone but it had everything we were looking for. It has an amazing in-town location (one block from the beach, one block from 5th Ave) and the condos are gorgeous! We really wanted to be able to have the extra space for our guests to come over and hang out with us. Also, we wanted our guests to make our wedding their own personal vacation, so we are letting everyone stay where they feel most comfortable (i.e. in their budget). The extra space in our condos will serve as a great wedding headquarters!

I recently returned from a site visit to Playa where I booked the Xcaret chapel for our ceremony (2:00 pm). It's a little bit earlier than we would have liked, but they do that so there is time to set up for the night wedding. If you are going to have your ceremony and reception at Xcaret, you have to have a 5:00/6:00 pm ceremony. It is a little bit pricey to rent the chapel but once we visited and saw how beautiful the chapel was we knew that was the place!

I think her rates are really reasonable. She has packages that start at $750 for day of coverage and go up from there. You can tailor each of the packages to include what you are looking for (i.e. site inspection, day of, welcome cocktail, reception, transportation, spa/golf reservations, entertainment, etc...) I also really like that any deposits/payments I have to make to the different vendors I can just send to her US address and she has it deposited and makes the payment for me!

Hello! Leanne is actually our wedding coordinator and I have nothing but positive things to say about her! We just got back from a site visit last weekend and everything went extremely smoothly. She has lots of great connections in PDC and I have complete faith in her (since I want to be as hands off as possible!). She gave me a list of references before we chose her and I contacted several of them who all had wonderful things to say about her. Hola! As an avid reader of BDW for awhile now, I decided to make the jump and join in the conversations. I just got back yesterday from a site visit to Playa del Carmen and made arrangements for a March 6, 2010 wedding. Thanks to everyone for all the great information I've received from this site!
