  1. The way we communicated when we were in Cancun was by email. We just told everyone before we got there to check their email in the morning and at night. It worked out pretty well...
  2. I have a few pictures of the arrecifes restaurant, this bride did her welcome dinner on the patio at this restaurant and it was awesome! Good food, great service, and great scenery! here they are... enjoy!
  3. Hey Jpitts... that is an awesome map! That is one that I would hang up in my office!
  4. All of you Moon Palace brides are going to love your wedding! The resort grounds are amazing, the rooms are the best I have ever stayed in, and there is so much to do. I just checked out the virtual tour and didn't even know there was a mini golf area... the grounds are HUGE!
  5. I know that two out of the MANY resorts in the Riviera Maya area don't make a huge deal over outside photographers. I stayed in The Riu Cancun and The Moon Palace and shot weddings there and I wasn't confronted by one person about paying a fee. I did stay at the resort though.
  6. I know this topic is a little old, but I have some experience with the Moon Palace. I shot a wedding there last year. Here are the advantages and disadvantages I saw. Advantages: 1. HUGE resort, there are a lot of rooms, if you never want to see a guest after or before the ceremony (not like that would ever happen, but just in case) this is the place for you. 2. Access to ALL the palace resorts, this is something we used a lot of, there are some AMAZING palace resorts all over the RM. 3. I actually liked the food, I heard a lot of bad things, but there were a lot of different really nice restaurants to choose from. 4. Full bar in room, good alcohol too. 5. Spa in every room, AWESOME! used this a lot too. 6. Great Service! Disadvantages: 1. The beach is not as nice as they make it look, the coloring of the water isn't the clear teal blue, its more like a dark blue with patches of teal. 2. Far away from everything, if you want to go outside of the hotel. 3. Takes FOREVER to get from one end to the other. I think if I had to choose, I would go with the Dreams resort, if it was only between these two resorts. The main reason is the beach, when I go to Cancun I want the best beaches. Hope this helps!
