It seems like April - May are the busiest months with weddings at Paradisus? Can anyone fill me in on what is the busy season and what is the off season for the resort/region. Also, if you go during off season is there a good chance that you experience most of things at the resort closed as some of the girls have recently?

I'm also trying to get a feel for the weather situation in RM. It seems like June 2010 brides have already booked! I better get my site visit soon! I'm just so excited this resort seems wonderful. Hi Ladies, Your posts are all so helpful. I started off on this site thinking I was going to get married in Cabo, but have since then started rethinking to the Riviera Maya area. Paradisus looks like a beautiful resort and I can't want to find out more about it. We were thinking of October 2010 but I have read that is rainy season. I guess it will be more like June/July 2010 if possible. We are planning on going on a site visit in late fall to finalize our location. Is this too little planning time? Also, where can I find more Paradisus Wedding Reviews/Pictures? Thanks for any help! Sara

Does anyone have an idea if you can pay to get a bar to stay open later then the time that they close? I think I read that they close early. Is there anywhere to get information on that?

Hi Ladies! FI and I are really interested in getting married at Dreams Cabo around October/November 2010. We are also planning on a site visit soon so we can lock in all the details. For your site visit, is it a good idea to go around the time of year you are planning on getting married to get a feel for the weather and everything, or does it not make a difference? Thanks! Sara

Has anyone checked out the One and Only for their wedding/honeymoon? I'm looking for info/reviews and for us it's pretty much down to Dreams or One and Only.. I know, hugeeee price difference, but based upon all the Dreams reviews it seems like it would be a great choice. so far i'm voting dreams and then one and only the next week FI thinks we should look more into One and Only.. If you have a legal wedding not just the symbolic wedding will it be in english? ALSO, does anyone have pictures of the rooms? Honeymoon suite etc?

So, I've been trying to find a lot of answers in the dreams thread, but there are so many pages so I'm hoping to find some answers here. Since we decided to do destination we really would like to pay for the majority of our family that we really want to be there. I'm wondering if anyone has any idea what room rates for around 40 would cost? Also, did anyone have a party for the guests that couldn't make it after the wedding? And one last question, how far in advance do you need to book Dreams? We are looking to book for Oct 2010. Thanks for any help! Sara

I was wondering if anyone had any info about the One and Only resort. I've gotten so many recommendations for there and I haven't seen much on here about it.
