  1. I just got back from my site visits and my WC wanted me to see this hotel just in case I wanted to have my guests stay there. I know the owner is really looking to have a wedding event at her hotel so she may give you a great deal. The hotel is really cute but small. One whole side has all the rooms (I think about 14 or so room) then in front of the rooms is a very small pool and the restaurant. It's right in the heart San Jose Del Cabo central area. They offer a shuttle to the beach in the case you want to have your ceremony on the beach. Hope this helps.

I'll let you know as soon as I get some final prices.
  3. Glad to know others are in the same boat and I'm not the only one. I'm definitely going to do the list emails. Thanks!

If I had it my way she would be like me and have a black berry attached to her hip and be able to answer my questions throughout the day, however that is not the case. I have come to realize that if I send her everything I can come up with in one day, she ususaly can answer those questions by the next day. When I get that email, I respond with my next set of questions. I have found it most beneficial to put my questions in a number format like this: 1. 2. 3. So that everything gets addressed. Most of the time it does, if it gets skipped, its easy to just add it to the list the next time. Thanks Deefalvey. I guess I need to realize not everyone is on a blackberry like me. ) I just pm'ed u. Wanted to ask you about Dreams.
  5. I've been talking with a WC the came highly recommended on this site. However, every time I email her, she doesn't respond within the same day and blames it on her email server problems. I'm the type of person that emails a lot and would expect a WC to respond almost immediately with answers to my questions. Is that asking too much? Just wanted to know what people's experience were and if I'm expecting too much from my WC. Any advice would be great. Thanks.... -stressed.
  6. Has anyone used Tez's Catering for their wedding? If you could let me know how the food/rentals/service was, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!!!
  7. Thanks everyone!!! Hopefully it won't be too windy in November.
  8. Does anyone know how the weather is in Cabo in November? I'm avoiding August/September due to possible hurricane weather so now I'm shooting for November to have my wedding in Cabo. Hopefully a sunset ceremony and evening reception outside. Thanks for your help!
  9. Hi Mineaux! Thanks for getting back to me. I think i'm going to check out both boats on my site visit. Have a great time on your wedding! Thanks again.

If you have 30 or more you can get the whole boat to yourself for the same price. Seems worth it to me!~ We have 30 ppl exactly right now, but we can always add more up tp 2-3 days before we board ( for food and booze count). Hi Mineaux, I was trying to decide between Sunrider and Escape the Sun. Have you been on the Escape the Sun boat? I'm thinking my group will be around 60 and am concerned that Escape the sun will be too empty with my small group. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  11. I've been considering doing fireworks during my reception (if the budget permits) and I was wondering if anyone had recent prices for fireworks. We'd look to do anything from a 1 minute to 2 minute show. Also, is it even worth it? I don't want to even bother with a wimpy fireworks show. My WC quoted around $1400 for 1 min and $2000 for 2 min. I saw in earlier posts that someone got a 2 min fireworks show for $950. My WC said that is impossible. Can anyone help? Thanks!
  12. Thanks to everyone for their welcomes!
