Morgan, I think I have read every word of all your posts. I love all your pix and ideas. I am helping my daughter with this one and I think you may have made it more difficult because I want to do all of it I really like your guest gifts left in the rooms and the pix of you trashing the dress. The album you posted was beautiful. Another daughter had a traditional wedding last fall and I wanted this daughter to have some of the same Mementos and you have shown me that she can! Thank You!

I have a good price for the Catalonia Riviera Maya that will require a down payment shortly. The dates are May 31, 2009 for 7 nights. I have been unable to get Elena at the CRM to return my emails or talk to me on the phone. I have sent 3 email requests and called several times a day for the last week. The response is always that she will respond tomorrow and that she is very busy. The ceremony is symbolic so will not require a legal representative. Has anyone actually booked this resort and then had problems getting a time and date reserved? Thanks

My daughter Megan delivered twins last June, and had a civil ceremony 1 month prior to the birth. 1 month after the birth she was Maid of Honor at her sister's traditional wedding. Now we are planning the wedding Megan really wants 1 year later at the Catalonia Riviera Maya. Resort dates are 5/31/09-06/07/09. Approx 25-30 guests. All the advice and tips have been wonderful. I am just glad now I can use the search function. I have been a travel agent for 23 years but the information from the brides who have had a recent destination wedding experience is simply invaluable. Thank You! MOB
