  1. Hi! Congrats on your engagement! I don't know what promotions they have...they do have some though you'd have to ask. I only had 24 people and mabye only 8 of them stayed at the resort because they had points/deals at other resorts on the strip. My friend got married at Moon Palace...she showed me her wedding video. It's nice and Moon palace is huge with lots of restaurants/activities to choose from. Le Blanc is very intimate but not crowded but only has a few restaurants to choose from. With either resort you can go to any of the other palace resorts and eat/drink for free. Also, with both resorts they have a lot of included trips you can go on. Moon Palace is further away from downtown Cancun but you can get a bus/taxi from either hotel. Really what it comes down to is Le Blanc is more expensive but is elegent (but not stuffy). Moon Palace has hundreds of weddings and is nice but a lot more casual. I really liked that I was the only bride during my entire 7 day stay. I was very pampered and the planner was there to make sure everything was perfect. It was the perfect combination of beach wedding with elegance. Let me know if there's anything specific you have any questions about! Good luck on your decision. Either way you and your guest will have a great time!
  2. Hi, If you have facebook befriend me...name is Heidi Mason Sarabia. I have a lot of wedding photos to look at there. If you're not on facebook...go to Photo Books, Cards & Stationery, and Photo Share Sites | Shutterfly and sign in using [email protected] and as the password "cancun". I have a bunch of pictures there too. Hope this helps! Heidi PS. As long as you don't want to have kids under 18 at your wedding (which isn't allowed at the adult only resort)...I would get married there again in a heartbeat. It was perfect and not at all stressful. It's a wonderful resort with an awesome wedding planner. Good luck and congrats!
  3. By the way, only some of my guests stayed at Le Blanc. The rest stayed at various other less expesive resorts. If they do stay at other resorts you have to pay 80. per person to get on to the resort for the wedding. You can pay 135. per person so they can use the all inclusive facilities which I was convinced to do but wasn't worth it. There is a lag of an hour or so between the ceremony and reception and I wanted them to be able to have drinks but it's much cheaper for them to pay for a drink or two while they wait and spare yourself the 135/ per person. Heidi
  4. Yes it is all inclusive. The food is good, the drinks not watered down, and if you want filet mignon at 2 am with a bottle of champagne all you have to do is call your butler. It's the best all inclusive I've been to for sure!
  5. Topless is allowed in both areas. I didn't see anyone topless in the pool though. In fact, there was a topless woman facing toward Le Blanc behind the wedding gazebo that gave some of our male guests eye candy to look out during our ceremony...and some of our pics and video have her in it too!
  6. Hi Brides to be! I posted a reply but I think it didn't post for some reason but I'll reiterate what I said on it. I got married at Le Blanc March 30th. I was nervous since no one I could find had gotten married there. It was AMAZING!!!!! I couldn't have dreamed of a better wedding. It was exactly what I'd hoped for and then some and it was totally stress free. If any of you want to see pictures I haven't been able to up load them to this site for some reason, either email me and I can try to attach some pics or if you are on facebook search for me, Heidi Mason Sarabia (let me know what your name is so I accept you as a friend). If you have any specific questions let me know but here's a recap of it all. First of all Rebecca who is the wedding coordinator for the Palace resorts is wonderful...totally on top of everything and works very hard to make everything go smootly and perfectly which she accomplished. She made my wedding completely stress free. No bridezilla here. I picked a package that wasn't the most expensive one (the next one down) and I'm glad I did because I had everything I wanted. I will say that for destination weddings Le Blanc is more expensive than most BUT it is worth EVERY penny. If you don't get the most expensive package you can upgrade things like table centerpieces and bouquets (but for a huge price) bridesmaid bouquets to match mine were 250. a piece...to upgrade bridal bouquets was also about 250. NOT worth it...at least in my opinion. Everything is so elegant. I wanted to have my private reception outside (they only do buffet style outside) but it was too windy so I was disappointed at first in having to choose a restaurant. I am SO glad it worked out that way. I think that even if it isn't windy that you and your guests will be more comfortable in air conditoned comfort inside rather than the hot humid (sometimes windy) weather outside). We choose the italian restaurant and had the filet mignon as the main course. It was possibly the BEST filet I've EVER had. I eat filet all the time and it was incredible...even the professional chef in the family was really impressed. The rest of the meal consisted of what seemed like an endless parade of unique gormet dishes (I think there were 7 courses including the cake). Also, we were going to have our cocktail hour outside but because of the wind had it brought inside...we had to beg a little but ended up having it in the martini bar on the 2nd floor with a beautiful ocean view! It was amazing. The photographer was great. (Our package came with 32 prints). Then, instead of paying a lot more for the photo packages we paid 150. for the photographer's CD which had like 200 photos on it. Way more than enough! We also had our relatives download pics to a shutterfly page we created. The food was great...especially for being an all inclusive. You could literally order a filet and bottle of wine at 3 am and your butler would bring it within 20-30 min. We stayed at Le Blanc for 8 nights and then went to Adventura Spa for our 4 night honeymoon (it was supposed to be longer but we loved Le Blanc so much we extended our stay there). I wish we'd stayed the entire time there. The food wasn't half as good and I got sick there. It was really hard to go from Le Blanc to Adventura...as nice as it is...a definite step down. Leave Le Blanc for last. Our butler service was great. You can ask him for anything day or night. You can choose from an assortment of pillows (I loved the lavender pillow). The night before the wedding I went back to my room and had the butler draw the wirlpool with camomille bath salts...had relaxing music playing and lavendar aromatherapy (which they bring to your room...again you can choose from a menu of sents)...and fell asleep with my lavendar pillow. I really could go on and on but I won't. If you have any specific questions let me know...and if you want to see my wedding pics let me know your name and find me on facebook! Good luck to all of you. If I could get married anywhere in the world and didn't have a budget I would get married at Le Blanc all over again!
  7. Well, you'll have an awesome honeymoon. It's an outstanding resort. I'm jealous, I want to go back! Good luck with everything! You'll see why there's a difference in cost...it is 100% worth every penny. There is a big difference between Le Blanc and any of the other Palace resorts. Congrats!
  8. Hi and congrats! I haven't found anyone yet who has gotten married at Le Blanc...but I'm about to! I'm getting married March 30th...less than 3 weeks! I've really heard only awesome reviews about the facilites, food, service. I will tell you that once you get involved in organizing it...there are a lot of extra fees. You can make it as cheap or as expensive as you want, but some things I'm doing without...a little annoyed...because I refuse to pay the insane price. For example...I got one package down from the signature package...I received pictures via email of bouqets I could choose from. The pictures were numbered and the ones I could choose from were 1-9...good selection but nothing I was super excited about...there were some awesome bouquets that I could up grade to...but they were 200. + to upgrade. Also, I ended up with roses...9 of them...each individual 6 rose bridesmaid bouquet was going to be 250. bucks! I did without them. Also, just so you know, even though it is an all inclusive resort basically you have to have your guests or yourself pay a 100. per person fee just to set foot on the resort and come to your wedding. If you want them to be able to come earlier and stay later and enjoy the all inclusive drinks/food of the resort it is 136. dollars per person. If you have more than I think 21 people you HAVE to have a private function. So, I'm, for example, on top of the package price, and on top of paying 100. per person to get onto the resort for the wedding I am paying 700. for an hour of served hors d'oeurves and open bar for 25 people...not bad all in all...but remember...this is an all inclusive resort to start with! Also, dinner...for 2 hours open bar and either buffet style outside or served dinner inside at one of the restaurants is 500. per table of 10 people. However, I'm excited. I also like the fact that hardly anyone else has gotten married there...unlike Dreams Tulum...etc. I'll keep you posted...if you want to send me your real e-mail address...mine is [email protected] I can at least forward you some of the stuff and pictures they've sent me. Let me know!
  9. Thanks for all of the replies! It certainly makes me feel better. I'll definitely let you all know how it goes! I would still LOVE to hear from anyone who has had/seen a wedding there! Thanks!!!!
