  1. murraycb - Nate Cordova was our photographer for three days and our guests are still talking about him. He earned every dollar..... thanks for the info on Nate....i've heard nothing but good things about him. if you get a chance, or anyone else reading this, i'm still looking for any info about tipping...did you end up tipping Kelly or anyone else like the minister etc? thanks
  2. I know there have been posts about "tipping" but if anyone can give me a quick answer that would be great. i'm just wondering what a reasonable amount is to tip Nicole, and then the minister as well. thanks
  3. Hi--IDEAVILA i don't come on here often but i did see your wedding date is may 10th, 2010 and that you were looking for a photographer. We are getting married at Las Caletas on may 5th. We felt the prices that were part of the package at Las Caletas were too expensive as well, so we ended up booking a photographer from Portland. He used to live in Puerto Vallarta and has done about 15-20 weddings at Las Caletas. Nicole at Adventure weddings highly recommends him as well. His name is Nathan Cordova.....his website is license to Still anyways, to get to the point-- his 7 hour package is only $700 which includes a dvd of 400-600 pictures with about a third being done in black and white. we had to pay for his airfare which was $375 form portland to mexico and then $20 for the 3 days he'll be there as per diem
  4. Hi everyone. My name is Nicole and i am new to this site and would welcome any help at all! we are wanting to have our wedding at the Santa Fe resort in Los Cabos but i've been e-mailing the resort without much luck. what we want is to have the entire wedding take place at the beach. we are looking to have maybe 50 people at the most. as of right now, the only information i can gather from the resort is that they will do a private reception on the beach for 8 people max. has anyone else tried to have the reception on the beach? also, in looking at the options at the Palace next door, they have a few beach options---but we don't want to stay there. is it possible to stay at the Santa fe resort and have a wedding at the palace? also, another option is the English Garden but i can't find any information on that either. if anyone has any infor on any of these questions, i would be so greatful. thank you
