Hi Constance. I too have read about the damage from good old Hurricane Ike but have been in touch with the wedding co-ordinator at the hotel and things seem to be getting back to normal. From what I can gather Playa Pesquero wasn't hit as badly as some of the other resorts in Guardalavaca. Fingers crossed ! I have ordered my dress and the girls their bridesmaids dresses. I am sooooo excited. Have you chosen your dress yet ? We have 26 people at our wedding including the five of us which I don't think is bad considering we're travelling all the way to Cuba. Do you have family/friends who are going to your wedding ? I have never been to Canada, and my fiance (Gary) and I have talked often about going there. Hi everyone. I am Sue from beautiful, but wet Yorkshire in the UK. My fiance and I are going to be married at the Hotel Playa Pesquero, Guardalavaca, Cuba on 11 March 2009. I'd love to hear from anyone who is also getting married there in March 2009 or has already been married there. This is a second wedding for both me and my partner and we have 3 girls between us who are going to be our princess bridesmaids on the day. We have two 12 year olds and a 10 year old.
