  1. Hey guys - sorry I am so slow! I promise to get the review up asap - I just have so much on my plate right now. Hair - I had my MOH do it for me - she is amazing. I don't really think the salon hairdresser speaks english very well... so the bride that I saw did not end up with what she wanted. If you are looking for a basic updo - she is great, but anything more than that, I don't think they are really set up for that. Rehearsal - we did a quick run through on the second morning we were there... kind of a joke really. We didn't meet the minister, but I am sure if you asked, you could. We were just told to have the guys meet at a certain place at 5:30 and the girls at 6:00 and we kind of just wung-it. It all worked out wonderfully and you'd never know that none of us had any idea what we were doing. I ended up walking down the aisle way too fast, and my song barely played... but it wasn't a big deal. It was all over in about 12 minutes and we took photos for about an hour, then we ate, drank and were married! lol Review is coming, I swear!
  2. Thank you! It was such a great day... sigh... I'd sure love to go back!

  4. Hey everyone! We just got back yesterday Everything was amazing - I don't know how soon I'll have my review up, but if any of you have specific questions feel free to e-mail me at jessicaweber@shaw.ca and I will help you all out. BTW - On site photographer was great - no need to worry I paid a bit extra afterwards (150 USD) and they gave me the whole CD of 150+ photos that I can do whatever I want with. I suggest bringing a book of sample photos for the photographer to duplicate with your party as they do not speak English fluently. I'm a MRS!!! WOO HOO!!!

  7. I cannot thank you enough for the link to the photographers site! I agree Carly, one more thing I don't have to worry about! Thank you so much Abby!!
  8. Has anyone seen photos from weddings that used the hotel's photographer? (Santa Fe) Anyone know if they are any good? I intend to use the photographer that is included in our package. Our ceremony is at 6 and I am kind of worrying that it won't give us a lot of time for light... does anyone know what time the sun sets in March? 3 weeks! I can't believe it!! Yippee!!
  9. Thank you so much! I am going to contact them and see if they'll offer us the same thing. I really appreciate the help! I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again!
  10. hehe I know it's probably silly, but I heard that it is really dirty and the kinda place that you feel like you need to shower after leaving ... the review probably came from someone who's a neat freak (that is not me at all!! LOL) so I am sure it's not as bad as she said... I was hoping to set up something around the pool/outdoor bar for dancing after dinner... what do you guys think?? If the weather is good, I'd love to stay outside as long as possible. Does anyone know if that is even possible?? It was $500 for the disco and that included drinks, dj, and bartender What a beautiful day! The starfish on the backs of the chairs were so pretty! Do you mind sharing where you bought them?
