Anyone planning a wedding at the Riu in Montego Bay? I am a little nervous that it is not opening until august and it doesn't seem like they can give me much information except for whether or not the date is available. Also, I am starting to feel a little nervous that I chose Jamaica...people keep telling me that they had problems with people begging them for money? I guess this is only outside the resorts though? Thanks for the Input!

I have been getting great idea's from everyone here and finally decided to Join! I'm Tracy and getting married April 25,2009. I am still in between 2 resorts and getting anxious that I have to choose one fast! I am in between Riu at Montego Bay or Iberostar Rose Hall in Montego Bay. The wedding packages at Riu seem better and a little less inexpensive. Thanks for your input!
