  1. Abby: Thank you very very much for the details of Azul Sensatori. My fiance and I also went for the site visit on Oct 4th (i think it's a day after you) but unfortunately it was raining that day eventhough it cleared up a bit in the afternoon, so we didn't get to take as many nice pics as you. Congratuations on confirming your wedding date. I also met up with Caroline and she's very nice. I haven't yet confirm my ceremony location yet, but the perimeter of the Zocalo Restaurant is definitely very nice with an ocean view, and I'm planning to hold my cocktail reception there. My wedding is schedule Jan 10th, 2009. Hope Azul Sensatori will be fully operational by then.
  2. Hi Polly....Prince: I can understand your frustrations, esp in planning a wedding faraway and the hotel not being opened yet. Below are my understandings in terms of your questions: 1. An outside photographer needs to be approved by the resort and they will charge you $500 dollars per day OR the photographer need to be a guest at the resort for 3 nights, then there will be no fee. 2. In terms of the beach reception, i think it's because nancy and fabio are the OFFSITE coodinator (they are not the onsite coordinator that will be helping you on your wedding day, they're in the middle to picking a person in their group to be the ONSITE coodinator at Azul Sensatori) and because the hotel is not open yet, they cannot guarantee specific sites for ceremony and/ reception, and that's prob why she said "approved by the resort" I think once the hotel is open and everything's running, you'll be to get more definitive answers, they answer all our questions based on their experience in other resorts, for ex, azul beach Hang in there, and enjoy the planning process, I'll provide as much informations as possible after my visit early oct.
  3. Weddingchick: thanks for ur suggestion =) I just booked my tickets last night and will be flying to check out azul sensatori 10/3-5, will keep u guys posted ~~~
  4. JHarwood2Be - I just spoke with fabio yesterday and I was told that the hotel is scheduled to open on time on 10/1/2008. My ceremony is at 3pm, and I'm planning to have cocktail reception from 4ish to 6ish (sunset's around 530pm in jan). I spoke w/ my photographer who's also a friend of mine, he doesn't recommend taking photos bet noon - 3pm. I was hoping to take some photos before the ceremony. Any suggestions girls? I'll def keep you guys posted on everything (wedd ceremony site, sky deck, cocktails site etc) I'll very likely visit that 1st weekend when they open, can't wait til the visit
