  1. Hi ladies. I got married at the Westin Aruba in October. I never did a review - just haven't had the time. Jennifer Croes-Veeris (Jennive) did my hair and makeup and she was awesome. We did the trial the night before for the rehearsal dinner. After she finished I looked and the mirror and was amazed. I'm an older bride so I was a little worried about make-up. I looked great and the makeup she used was so natural, I didn't even feel like I had makeup on. My hair was great too. Definitely use her, she's a wonderful person too! Tell her Kathie said hi!

  4. Hi Jmikla. I just mailed it yeserday. Let me know when it arrives please. Our wedding was awesome and the starfish looked beautiful in my bouquet. After taking pictures on the beach someone noticed it was missing and we were frantic looking for it. Long story short - it turned up out of nowhere on the beach days later. It was on one of the palapas we had and noone knew where it came from. Someone must have found it but I don't know how they knew who it belonged to. Needless to say I was very relieved! I hope it brings you as much happiness that it brought me. Have a great time and try to remember every second. I have almost no recollection of my wedding, it seems like a blur right now. Kathie
  5. Just want to let everyone know the starfish arrived safe and sound and ready to travel to Aruba!
  6. I need to order these ASAP, we leave next Friday. Has anyone found out the cheapest/safest way to go?
  7. Hi Kellygirl. I leave next week on October 13 and I haven't heard anything from the girl ahead of me. Have you heard anything?
  8. Hi. I don't know if this has been talked about already but has anyone looked into getting those sky lanters? They look gorgeous and I was wondering if my resort would allow them. If you buy the right ones, they're biodegradable and very safe.
  9. I live in Massachusetts and would love to split a case with someone. My colors are orange and pink, but I would do white also. I'm going to be in Aruba and have to find out from my WC.
  10. Hi fellow brides. I am trying to put my programs together and I have a question. We are having a steel pan player for the ceremony and cocktail hour on the beach. The bridal processional song is Pachelbel's Canon by Johann Pachelbel, but it's raggae style wherein lies the problem. How do I word this in my program. I've seen it called Pachelbel's Raggae Canon and Pacelbel's Canon Raggae style, Pachelbel's Cannon Raggae, etc. Obviously the song is Pachelbel's Canon or Canon in D. "Pachelbel's Canon" (Raggae)..............Johann Pachelbel "Pachelbel's Raggae Canon".................Johann Pachelbel "Pacelebel's Canon in D" (Raggae)......Johann Pachelbel Please help, I'm so confused
  11. I am getting married in Aruba in October and we're using a steel pan player for the ceremony. For the bridesmaids, only two, I'm using "What a Wonderful World" for me I'm using Canon Raggae. It's a little lighter and fun. I'm having trouble with the recessional. I want something upbeat but not sure what. I was thinking of something like Hot, Hot, Hot or something fun like that. I'd love suggestions too!
