Hi All, I've narrowed down my DW locations to Cabo, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica. The whole planning process is a bit overwhelming. I'm not quite sure how to get started. Should I look into an all inclusive package? Or piece meal it together? Also does anyone have any recommendations for a photographer or videographer for the above locations? With my limited budget I can't afford to fly a photographer and videographer out to my location, so I'm looking for a local professional. Any information is greatly appreciated. Phoebe

I think live wedding is a great idea. The key value here is "live". If my best friend is getting married and I can't go, I would love to be able to watch it live on the internet. There's something magical about hearing someone saying "I Do" and see/watch them tie the knot. Isn't that why we invite friends and families to our wedding? Watching a video after it has happened is just not the same. It's already happened, it's in the past. I think live webcasting is perfect for destination weddings. I know a lot of my friends and family won't be there. I will definitely look into this further.

I'm Phoebe and our wedding date is going to be sometime in June 2009. We're looking at a few destinations, including Cabo and Dominican republic. I look forward to getting some planning and location ideas in this forum.
