Hi All, My fiance and I have booked our wedding at the Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana. This is a new resort that is opening October 2008. Just wondering if anyone else is planning on having their wedding there?? jenna

My TA is in the process of getting rates for May 2009 - brides who have already booked their weddings, do you have any advice on booking "extras", were any of you able to negotiate prices

I was in contact with a wedding coordinator today at Excellence in Punta Cana and she told me that if the wedding group is 30+ ppl then there will only be 1 wedding per day.

Does anyone have any info on the new elegance extension that is being built??

Hi All, I am serioulsy considering Punta Cana Excellence for my wedding. We are planning on inviting adults only to our wedding, and it is my understanding that this is really the only AI Adults only resort in PC? Are there any past/future excellence brides out there jenna

I know several ppl who are well travelled and have been to the Excellence more than once and have never had anything bad to say about it. I trust that this is an "excellent" resort and in fact I am highly considering it for my destination wedding.

Hi All, My name is Jenna and I am from Ontario, Canada. My fiance and I are planning our wedding for May 2009, however we are having some difficulty, so I am hoping that some of you may be able to offer some advice. Right now I am debating between Punta Cana, DR and the Mayan Riveria in Mexico. The trouble I am having is that the tour operators (e.g. sunquest) will not have their packaged rates (all inclusive flight, hotel, etc) until August. I am reluctant to book without knowing the "new" rates, however I need to give my guests notice. Any advice? Thanks, jenna
