We're getting married at Aventura on June 7! Everything is set and ready go!

We had the same issue!! The ladies in Miami are terrible about getting things right. The first time they gave our date away, the second time they gave us the wrong date, the third time the sent the contract with wrong information...finally got it right the fourth time, which in all took over two weeks!! However, we are now working with the wedding coordinator and she has been very helpful, accurate, and prompt. Good luck!! It's probably just the language barrier!!

Hi, have any of you photgraphed weddings at Aventura before? Could you please tell me if the sun sets on the beach or behind the resort? I have heard that it sets behind the resort, so having a sunset ceremony won't produce the best pictures. What time of day would you say is best for pictures? I am flexible in my ceremony times. Any help would be greatly apprecitated!!

Moon Palace is one of the few that DOES do beach ceremonies! It is about 5 miles from the airport. Also, they offer free wedding packages just for staying there, which is great if you are on a budget. Good luck!

I can't decide what time to have the ceremony!! I am debating between 11, 1, or 6...I really wanted a sunset wedding, but now I am wondering if it might be nice to have bright, sunny pictures. What is the sun like at 6? I know it doesn't set until around 7:30 in June... What time are you planning, and why? I am mostly thinking about pictures... Please help!

Hi everyone! This forum is wonderful!! My name is Marisa and I will be getting married in June '08 in Cancun/Riviera Maya. We had a date set at the Moon Palace, but they just informed us that they gave our day/time to someone else!! We are thinking that we will probably just book with Aventura instead, because they have more availability. We won't have any guests, so adults-only is fine. Have any of you been married at Aventura, or are any of you planning on it? Does anyone have pictures of Aventura? I would like to see pictures of what their photographer has done...I am a little nervous about using the one on-site, but we are on a budget! Thanks!!
